you're probably right, but some people are stubborn and if they got attached to Marathon first they might not have given Arc Raiders a shot is what I'm thinking. There's also a lot of word-of-mouth both games depend on. If I'm going to play either of these games, it'll be the one my friends are already playing (so never Marathon)
