I’m sorry they’re being so inconsiderate. That sucks big time. I feel like escalating it won’t accomplish anything. Can you offer a truce from whatever happened in the past? ..try to get on their good side somehow?

My neighbor did the same kind of thing once. It was like stadium lights glaring into my bedroom. It wasn’t on purpose - just being thoughtless - but it was awful! I contacted their landlord and appealed to her good side. She had them remove it within a day or two, saying she never gave permission to install it.
