My dad used to get teary-eyed and preachy about the songs Cat's in the Cradle, and Richard Cory. He would lecture us about how meaningful they were. And now for some reason I have that lousy Richard Cory song stuck in my head.
For the record, I have nothing against meaningful songs. I just prefer them to be a bit more subtle.
