I can't speak for why it's on that list or why it isn't but it's one of the lists we use for our instances to make federation derisions. It may not be blocked my .social (Nor did I claim it was) but as you aren't a registered user on this instance the reasons are hidden (Which is the reason I've shared in my previous reply).
We do have some instances blocked which don't have reasons attributed, those are ones we imported from the list of domains .social blocked when we first setup our instance.
