I'm not sure where you see me romanticizing capitalism. I'm just say that what we have now - which is terrible - is not capitalism. It's a joining of private ownership with govt power, which is something else.

Almost all NA tribes had territories and many had individual ownership of tools or animals. Most didn't think of land ownership in the way that is currently understood, but hunting grounds that were fiercely defended. The primary definition of profit is simply "an advantageous return." Any successful tribe had that in their hunting and their trade.

Which tribe are you referring to?
