Having been born in 1969, I find myself in a position to say, "I made it." I have a family, a house, two Audi cars, and two children. This leads me to wonder if I would have achieved the same level of success without being born into the fiat monetary system. Perhaps if the Bretton Woods system (often considered a 'fake gold standard') had still been in effect, my financial situation might have been even better. I believe my success is largely due to being raised in a family of craftsmen who borrowed money to accomplish their goals, worked hard, and responsibly paid off their debts.
