purple pepper update...i'm very pleased with how prolific these were. i started these peppers from seeds saved from an ornamental pepper plant i bought last year. because of that there is some genetic variation in the individual plants; one on the right only produces yellow peppers, for instance. i will continue the experiment into next year, and see what comes up.
