Giving a talk next Tuesday at OCADU for an Alternative Practices Symposium organised by the studio 100m! The symposium is a dialogue among collectives, studios, individuals, including art and design students, to explore and reflect upon our relationships and alternative modes of engaging with our creative practices. I'll be speaking about access and looking at it from the lenses of care, repair, and documentation:

“How have we included or excluded others in our day to day encounters, or in our practice as artists and designers? How have we made ourselves and our creative contributions accessible or inaccessible outside and inside of our communities? We will look at access from three different modes: as a form of care, of repair, and of documentation. Beginning with questioning our own notions of what has been historically considered acceptable in society, to speculating and moving towards a more just and inclusive world.”
