Yesterday morning I added a Monero payment target to my profile to compare with bitcoin zaps. Constantin (nprofile…jrw8) asked me how it went, so I thought maybe I’d just share an update every 24 hours for the next few days. Nostr activity fluctuates, especially on weekends and holidays, so giving it a week or two should give a better picture for comparison.

First 24 hours:
- 620 sats (≈50¢ USD)
- 0.0086934 XMR (≈$4.66)

I was genuinely surprised I received any XMR at all, especially the first day 😂 I wasn’t surprised at the relatively low bitcoin zap amounts, though, as that has been the trend recently.
