I ditched Apple a few years ago, if I did it today, knowing what I do... I would get a pixel and install GrapheneOS (npub1kwa…e0nj) on it. Then probably go with Framework :fedora: :ubuntu: (npub15f7…m7wr) running Fedora Project (npub1hpw…cd0d)
This is where I ended up after faffing about. GrapheneOS is solid, literally the only private phone. Fedora has been the smoothest experience I've had on Linux, for me it just works. I was nonplussed with lenovo.
Notable mention Nextcloud 📱☁️💻 (npub1rk6…hv4q) if you wanna kick Google/Microsoft to the curb as well.
