I wouldn't mind jpegs nearly as much if websites didn't compress the images more and people didn't compress their artworks beyond what's necessary before posting.
Jpeg artifacts are not noticeable on your uploads, so you're clearly doing something right, but sadly it's easy to mess up for most people, resulting in subpar image quality.
