I'm sure obfuscating what makes Nostr unique and giving it the appearance of yet another social media platform/protocol rather than simplifying the explanation on what makes it unique does wonders.
It takes no fucking effort to just say "Nostr is a protocol that lets you build whatever you can think of on it" and go from there, as I have a few times IRL. Any claim on the contrary reads as an excuse to not commit effort into learning on prospective users' behalves and ELT5 for them to jump on board.
