Casey Newton (npub1lhk…7va4) I integrate with it into my fediverse experience thanks to Friendica having a client API bridge over to it. It feels a bit too like Twitter to me in the worst ways. So I go over there when my brain wants that masochistic dopamine hit now that Nitter is gone. I’ll take it over Twitter or Facebook totally walled gardens. Because the backers are the same people who gave us our current social media and big tech calamity, tried to do it again with their web3/crypto play, and don’t seem like they actually care about more than marketing message about decentralization (see web3/crypto) I’m beyond skeptical. I do hope I’m proven wrong and I’d like some improvements in ActivityPub. But I’m not as optimistic about it or the organization as you and Mike Masnick ✅ (npub1grz…35cv) are.
