I understand your point just fine: you are saying that the pedos are using the animes as shield to forward their agenda, and that the kiwis are attack the animes in response. I don't disagree with that, but still the animes don't self police and they talk about engaging with anime on a meaninful level, but in the end it's just mindless consumerism in 99% of cases.

Like give me an example of understanding an anime on a deeper level and I'll be willing to revise my estimate, but it still doesn't change the fact that most anime avatars watch it for lewd content, and they don't self police their groups to remove them.
