One time we built a custom home a few years back that had a walk-in shower that was as big as a normal person‘s bedroom. It had four waterfall showers along the top and then eight showerheads that were on the side walls. It was for a professional baseball player. It was crazy
My business partners do the actual building and then my part of the business is the exteriors.
About seven years ago, we also had to dismantle two identical, custom bow windows that were so wide that you can’t actually get them made. We had to frame in the bow by hand and add in custom individual windows. Our finish carpenter finished the interior woodworking, and I did all the metal work on the outside of the window. The bow window bank was 37 feet wide.
A builders life can be fun.
