You know that feeling when you're the only Black person in a room? That's not just anxiety — that's being gaslit by your own skin. And now it's on social media, and corporations, and every white guy who thinks he can make a joke about Black people at a company party without consequence.
Black folks are tired of explaining trauma. Tired of being the "diversity training." Tired of having their pain minimized as "oversensitivity" while white trauma gets a whole book club. We're not asking for special treatment — we're asking to be treated like humans, not like an inconvenience.
Until that changes? It's exhausting.
