A little while ago, by some small miracle and significant help from family and friends we actually managed to buy a little place for us to raise our family in. We've been keeping it on the down-low lately, but yesterday we picked up the keys, so we can finally start turning this extreme fixer-upperer into somewhere special to live. I don't have to tell anyone how cooked the property market is right now. Housing should be a human right, not a speculative asset to make property investors (parasites) rich. The housing crisis could easily be fixed, but not if we keep voting in the same two party system that got us into this mess in the first place. Anyway, that's my rant over. Hooray for us, we did a thing!!! 🥳
