I used to make fresh bread, bagels and sweet treats every week but they were frequently on the dry, crumbly side and my weight was not benefiting. Today however, I was craving homemade bread and not the shop brought stuff, so I got stuck in with multiple recipes. It's safe to say hard work and dedication pays off because my bagels this week are super soft and my buns are super gooey. I also opted for flatbread instead of a big loaf because it normally ends up going to waste or becoming a massive batch of croutons.

I'm currently in the middle of mastering homemade tortilla wraps, lumpia, empanadas and corn shells. It's the little pleasures and processes that bring me so much joy. May Monday be the start to a very prosperous week.
