I take great issue with this simply based on the one fact that in math, when you are dealing with fractions, if you apply something to one side of the fraction, the other side must get the exact same application. In this example, there were two sides by using that "logical" method of their fraction, and they applied a change to only one but not the other. Therefore, their fractions became uneven. i.e. gibberish.
