there was some shocking figure from arrests made at a Reform anti-immigrant rally in Bristol recently: something like 2/3rds of those lovely ‘we’ve got to protect our women and kids from these evil immigrants’ blokes had prior domestic abuse charges. Something like that. Spoke to a Met policeman a couple of years back who wanted to quit coz they didn’t do any ‘real policing’ - just attended domestics.
The level of violence against women is massive.
