LibreWolf is where it's at. I agree that the defaults are a bit too restrictive but it's easy enough to change, and starting from a default of too much privacy is better than starting with a default of too little. I do want to move away from Firefox Sync now since Mozilla holds the keys to that system, maybe I'll look into self hosting it.
