The thing that surprises me is how quickly people online came to conclusions about the killer:
* He's obviously on the Right, a Groyper
* He's obviously on the Left, an Antifa sympathiser
(Few have even considered the possibility he was just crazy, like John Hinckley.)
Social media can be very unhealthy for public discourse; the more often your circle repeats something, the more certain you become of its truth.
