He had to quit smoking temporarily as coughing hurt so much. When he died, nothing to do with smoking or drinking, he was comatose and he had nicotine patches all over him LOL. He was so happy when they told him it was some weird cancer that had nothing to do with nothing. No one could judge him for his past transgressions.
