I'm not sure "I have no idea what they're talking about" is a weak denial, but I think the diplomatic angle is possible. Then again, I've never seen Trump not be "aggressive and confrontational" so I don't know what all of this is supposed t mean. Was what we saw on TV the other day also something they would call "horrendous"? I would. What I'm saying is, was there something really different and unexpected here or does this communication have a purpose?
