I played and finished this game out of curiosity. It's apparently a forgotten series by Bamco, they tried to revitalize it in the 2000s by releasing mobile versions of it, but didn't work out. There's also a remake for PSOne in one of Bamco collections. Valkyrie no Bouken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu.
