GM. Noticing insects starting to move around in the house. South facing banks becoming snowless. Melting ice on blacktop. Water dripping in metal gutters. Owls calling off in the nightly distance. What was ice in front of culverts a few days ago now flowing water.

Second week of February in Northwest Wisconsin. Anything to "almost remember being green again," I'll take.
