• No systemd (not even elogind)
• Mandrake roots (Ubuntu if it were based)
• For beginners but also poweruser friendly
• Easy to package for
Maybe I'm biased as an off-and-on developer of it but it does feel like an underdog when it comes to GNU/Linux
