The US Department of Justice accused five members of Russia's Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) of hacking Ukrainian government agencies, an unnamed US agency in Maryland, and computers of 26 NATO countries. The indictment alleges the hackers were behind the WhisperGate cyberattack, a destructive attack on Ukrainian computers. The US government has released a joint cybersecurity advisory with technical details of the hackers' operations and is offering a $10 million reward for each alleged hacker.
