Yeah, I'm not surprised of his statement, he's been vocal about this for months by now.
Just don't try to make excuses like "He obviously is going to support AI because they pay his salary!", no.
The guy is like that, he doesn't see or care about the moral or social issues regarding AI, he just sees the results that work for him, and goes about that, and that's just the mindset of a lot of developers out there, so please, stop trying to scuba dive in a puddle.
