Every once in a while, someone says something like:

“I do this, and that makes me safe from Facebook’s prying eyes!”

It’s all complete nonsense.

If you use our Meta products or services in any manner, we know who you are, where you are, what you’re doing, who your friends are, and so much more.

I am so confident of that fact that, as a Meta employee, I have been warning people about what we’re doing, and I know my job is still safe and secure.

Because, will everyone leave Facebook? Nope!

Meta is like a drug to which many people have become addicted and rely upon. There are entire nations that use WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger for everything.

I’ve told people we are working closely with the United States government. We are actively building lists that Donald Trump could use to single people out. And people are still using Meta.

But ultimately, you need to accept there is nothing you can do to keep us from knowing everything about you while you continue to use Meta.
