That's kind of the thing within the Democratic party. Many are used to the infighting within the party and seeing faults with each other. Republicans mostly vibe with one another and are just upset when someone isn't staunch enough.

Democrats expected all along that some of their own will have to take the fall. Republicans always believed only "others" were to blame. They're dealing with cognitive dissonance with Trump blocking the files.
