Here stateside, we have this great thing called Craig's List, localized to every community. People list things they want to sell, and also a surprisingly large selection of free items. Plenty of fun objects that can be turned into planters and such, like old wheelbarrows. I saw a really cool garden featuring an overturned old car hood with all kinds of succulents large and small. Framed by some trees. It was so beautiful.
