Conference field trip to a carob factory then to a 12-year old test orchard of carob, then to a ~350 year old carob that won a Best Carob Tree in Spain contest in 2025.

After we took the tour, the machinery was turned back on and this is video from that. After the pods have been kibbled, the seeds are separated out and the flesh is processed into various levels of product - even livestock feed can vary with pigs and goats able to handle coarser carob than what goes to racehorses.
