All of a sudden I see more and more people use the number of 49 cents per kWh for nuclear. This number comes from the Fraunhofer Institute that doctored it to make nuclear energy look bad. Real world numbers are 7 cents for France for example. Or 15 cents for the Hinkley Point C project.

People who claim 49 cents simply don't understand what they're talking about, or are actively lying to you. Simple logic after all dictates that such a price wouldn't survive in the electricity market. No one would want to pay for it.
