Having faith opens up a whole new pantheon of problems. For example, believing while at the same time having a crisis of faith and the feeling of desperation and guilt that comes from the profound existential dissonance of the experience.

I wish I could inhabit the mind of that Centurion and feel the faith he so readily accessed.
