I was wondering whether the receiver chipset was maybe too bulky to include in phones; but I don't actually think so?

If you disregard the size of the dedicated antenna, the actual chipset doesn't seem unmanageably big? For a 15KM-range P2P radio/network protocol? I can see that being worth it?
This is *fascinating* to me. I really wonder what the catch is with LoRa; surely there must be one?
