The largest current known prime number is
(2^136,279,841)-1
It is ~40 million digits long.
This one below
(2^100000000000031)-1
Has ~31 trillion digits.
Is it prime?
If so, this would then be the largest prime number that humanity has found.
Preliminary Pre screen tests up to 78 bit search space all passed.
Which is quite cool and validates it as a candidate worth trying!
Storing this number on a computer in bits is like more than a terabyte just for the number 😂
BIG DOG!
