In light of the recent public discussions about the GNOME board member suspension, someone on Reddit was looking forward to the release of COSMIC to get away from unnecessary "politics" in free software.
Probably not having realized that COSMIC is one of the most significant results of community politics gone wrong in the modern free computing space.
