Most guys think that if they just do their part to "make the world a better place", then God will see they are good and let them into paradise in eternity.

This represents a misunderstanding of heaven: God cannot make common cause, cannot fellowship, with sinful beings. Sinful beings cannot live amongst a perfect and Holy God.

Two paths only: mercy or justice.

The only way to obtain eternal peace and rest with God is by forsaking the world (sin) to follow Jesus Christ. This means taking on the righteousness of the Son of God, letting He take on the just penalty for you sin upon the cross.

All those outside of Christ will recieve no mercy, no matter their "contribution", they will recieve instead exactly what they deserve: justice. Eternal restlessness and torment. Hell. 🔥
