the consequences of propaganda pumps needs to be felt on the ground by the pools directly performing the rhetoric and hedging for agenda-based corporate plots. fascism in quiet elite spaces masked as "democracy" casually tried to redirect public opinion to cover for over-emphasis on a rhetorical device - and that is not a free society; that's oligarchy.

just like brexit: trying to buffer the british population from repercussions from the propaganda pumping brexit by allowing the eu to be bullied into accepting the uk into the fold again is garbage policy. the british citizenry voted for the reality they now hate and it is their responsibility to remedy it; imagining the eu will simply "forget" and for the eu to suggest they might "forget" is also propaganda.

#pravda anyone who wants to leave contested regions and settle in russia receives citizenship and a "sum of money" or something like that - and then withdraw and let everyone choke. there is no winning in this situation, the protection extended to those trapped is not ideal - but effective - and ultimately, the eu and ukrainian arrogance against their double down rhetorical plotism is not about to end. so: be the mature nation state and make the eu openly deal with ukraine as an "ally" now that they have decided their sides.
