whoever thought of the name Evergreen [Linux] (would prefer if it was called EvergreenOS to come up in search engines) is a fucking genius
multiple meanings (atleast for me):
- evergreen trees usually grow on mountains (referring to alpine)
- green: envokes the idea of recycling and a nod to pmOS colors and roots
- evergreen trees are green all yr round… meaning we dont want to give up on old forgotten devices
