I've made a couple attempts over the last 15 months to learn an immutable Linux for the server side, namely Container Linux, because when it comes to running web apps whose primary supported distribution method is a container, I want to run them with an absolute minimum of maintenance, and make them difficult to escape if an exploit is found.

I am still struggling with it mostly due to the rather arcane way of specifying a deployment, but that also has as much to do with my own cognitive problems which stem from living on a couch as it does the Flatcar way of writing config files that are used to provision a system... and also this being my first foray into "cloud native" thinking, after running Linux the old skool way since 1994! 👴🏻
