The main upshot of this Bip-110 situation is that I’m fully liberated from paying any attention to the chattering podcast/influencer crowd. I plan to keep my Bitcoin, but only for the fiat gains. The dream of a decentralised, private money for all is effectively dead at this point.
It’s a wealthy western man’s game now, very sad to see but at least I know where I stand
