My website has been around for a quite a while now. I just ran a build to see how big it is:
- 3088 pages
- 1165 static assets (images mostly, some CSS/JS files, etc)
Hugo builds the whole thing in 4.4 seconds.
Also, SSGs FTW! Hosting all that on WP would crash my server.
