There is a perfect vintage rug that I want for this room but it's in Virginia, and I'm not sure if a) it will still be available b) I'll be able to afford to travel this summer to get it.
I got hit with a huge tax obligation for '25 when I took out some of my retirement to travel to Virginia last summer for the service after my mom passed. My TSP withdrawal pushed me into a higher tax bracket. Now I understand why people post Go Fund Mes for these expenses: So they don't get hit with taxes!
