There would be McDonald’s and Jamba Juices in Kabul right now if we had one person in charge during the whole affair with a clear goal and no reservations other than total victory. Our fault in Afghanistan wasn’t ability. It was the lack of a clear, well thought out game plan that didn’t have to deal with 4 year elections and politics.
