As bitcoin use increases and on-chain transaction fees rise, could bitcoin become more a physical currency?
If demand only increases, some people like new users won't understand and won't want to pay more than the sats value in transaction fees.
Some will tell me there's lightning network for that but if on-chain fees rise, so will the cost of creating lightning channels, custodial lightning wallets will make you pay a subscription for that like alby cloud already.
One alternative would be to exchange bitcoin physically without the person knowing the private key, like a satscard or opendime. #asknostr
