The “Too Good To Go” app usually doesn’t actually reduce food waste. I’ve tested it. Bakeries that used to donate leftovers now sell them in the app. Sometimes the portions are so large you end up throwing some out. I suspect some businesses make extra food just to sell on the app. The "surprise bags" are often underwhelming.
Great concept, less impressive in practice.
I don't recommend it for most people. I recommend supporting sustainable businesses, like vegan restaurants, and cooking at home
