I’ve been using Jellyfin for 5 or 6 years.
Plex is steering towards entshitification for a few years now.
I’m on the edge of buying a Plex lifetime pass and hope for the best, knowing I’ll be disappointed in a few years.
I want podcasts and music without hosting two more apps. I want a reliably stream encode (I still have Jellyfin choke on some 4k transcodes despite the 3060ti in the box). And don’t get me started on client UIs. There’s a reason I’m paying for Infuse.
