So, probably $30 ish per unit. That's more than we have 51 Miles From Nowhere currently listed for on vinyl at $25. We should probably up that price a little bit. I feel like it's worth $30. I worked very, very hard on it.
A 50% deposit would be required to produce 500 units, and the cost of digital masters would be all upfront.
So that's roughly $3500 to even get started. So, ideally I'd have 120 pre-orders, and 80 more sold after the pre-order to cover all costs.
I'm very confident I could sell out 100 records. I know I could sell 200 records. I'm just not sure how quickly. Spending trends are down, and I don't play as many shows as I should. I'm incredibly busy these days, and I'm honestly not the best at promotion.
